OUR ATTORNEYS

Joey and Stacey Vucko met as law students at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. After graduating in 2008, they began their careers in Chicago and not long after, married each other. In 2015, Stacey started "Vucko Law" as her own legal practice focusing on women's workplace rights. Her Vucko Law firm was officed out of Downers Grove, IL just a block away from downtown.

Through her hard work, the firm flourished and in 2019 Stacey  recruited Joey to join her. While in law school, Joey spent a summer externing in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Chicago, where he participated in the settlement negotiation process for numerous cases which were referred for mediation. For the previous seven years, Joey worked as a corporate in-house attorney and often handled employment law matters on behalf of employers. Joey's employer-side background compliments Stacey's substantial employment law experience on behalf of employees. Joey and Stacey agreed that their shared knowledge of employment law issues from the perspectives of both employees and employers would only help better serve their clients. And so, in early 2019, Vucko Law LLP was established. The firm remains as committed as ever to combatting illegal workplace practices. We take great pride in championing the rights of women, minorities and other protected classes. Through our efforts we hope to help shape a better future, where employees enjoy the fairness and respect that they deserve.
