Representative Cases

Attorney Stacey Vucko's experience includes the following: 

  • Obtained judgment in favor of licensed practical nurse against her former employer on claims including, but not limited to, pregnancy discrimination and failure to accommodate claims under Title VII and the ADA. 
  • Achieved multiple favorable settlements on behalf of clients for employment discrimination claims before the EEOC, IDHR and in federal court. 
  • Obtained Summary Judgment on behalf of a corporate client in defending a civil conspiracy case in Cook County following oral argument and briefing. 
  • Prosecuted a breach of contract claim against a physician and her clinic and obtained a favorable verdict following a bench trial in Cook County.
  • Defended a corporate client in employment discrimination litigation in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
  • Defended a corporate client in Cook County litigation involving a breach of contract claim. 
  • ​Prosecuted a legal malpractice case as second chair on behalf of plaintiff city against its former attorney and his law firm. The three-week, publicized jury trial involved an underlying federal False Claims Act complaint alleging that the city's fire department had falsely coded emergency ambulance bills to Medicare. 
  • ​Assisted with the successful prosecution of a breach of insurance contract claim for failure to pay on the insured's claim. 
  • Represented multiple plaintiffs against a vocational school in breach of contract, Illinois Consumer Fraud Act and Illinois Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act litigation. 
  • Defended a chiropractor and her clinic against Medicare fraud allegations in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. 
  • Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of a client for a personal injury claim against defendant transit authority. 
  • Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of a client for a personal injury claim arising out of a car accident.
